White Chocolate Mocha recipe
White Chocolate Mocha ingredients
- 2 tbsp white chocolate (store-bought powder or homemade; recipe below)
- 1 shot espresso (or 50g of brewed coffeelike our Monaco)
- 6-8 oz milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)
- Optional garnish: whipped cream or chocolate sauce (store-bought or homemade; recipe below)
1. Brew the coffee
Grind 50g of Monaco coffee on a "French Press" setting. Add 800g of hot water, ensuring all the grounds are saturated. Let steep for 4 minutes, then press the plunger down. Decant the brewed coffee into a separate container.
3. Steam the milk
Refill the French press halfway with your milk of choice. Whether you’re using white mocha powder or your own white chocolate syrup from scratch, add it directly to the milk before frothing. Use the plunger to froth the milk until it reaches your desired texture. You can also use a milk steamer!
4. Assemble the drink
Slowly pour the steamed milk into your cup, stirring gently to combine all the ingredients. If you want a little extra white chocolate, you can also add some to the espresso or coffee base and mix it in.
5. Garnish & serve
Top your coffee with the white chocolate frothed milk. Stir gently to combine, and enjoy as is or with a sprinkle of white chocolate shavings, whip cream, or chocolate syrup for an extra indulgent touch!

White Chocolate Mocha latte FAQs
Does the White Chocolate Mocha have caffeine?
Yes. A traditional White Chocolate Mocha contains caffeine from the espresso. If you prefer a caffeine-free version, use decaf espresso or strong decaf coffee.
Can I make this dairy-free?
Absolutely! Use oat, almond, or coconut milk. Oat milk froths especially well for lattes.
What’s the difference between white chocolate sauce and powder?
White chocolate sauce is pre-mixed and easy to use, unless you make your own, while powder needs to be dissolved in hot liquid. Both work well in this recipe.
